Confession – I have never had my eyebrows waxed. There’s just something about warm wax being put by my eyes – such a sensitive area – that freaks me out a little bit.
A handful of years back, my sister took me to get my eyebrows threaded. I’ve been hooked since!

When I’m in the area, I love going to Meera’s on Canfield. It’s seriously the best $5 spent. If you’re able to walk right, you’ll be done within minutes. Many times though you’ll just have to grab a number and wait. But like I said, totally worth it!
Recently, I’ve been going Threading Concepts – located in the Harlem and Irving Mall. (They also have a place on Sheffield in Lincoln Park.) A little side shop that does an equally quick eyebrow job. And with their threading charges at $10 – I say it’s still a bargain!
