About: Corri McFadden is the founder and owner of the premiere luxury consignment service, eDrop-Off, which is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary. She has a weekly segment on WCIU’s You & Me This Morning as a style expert, and features all things fashion on her website, CorriMcFadden.com. Corri also recently launched glitterandbubbles.com, a site for modern day moms.

SMITC interview with Corri

SMIC: What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

CM: I prefer to only write with a sharpie!

 SMITC: How did your life change when you became a mom?

I now understand the importance of an eye cream! My skin care routine lacked this pre-baby, now I can’t imagine life without it! (Moms, Clé de Peau Intensive Eye Contour Cream is a must have!)

SMITC: What has been the biggest challenge for you in motherhood?

CM: Post baby weight loss. Unfortunately breast feeding didn’t work for me, so the weight “melting” off didn’t happen for me, but making funfetti cakes and roasting marshmallows on the stovetop did. I’ve started my diet and exercise plan, so I’m working to lose the baby weight. You can checkout my diet plan here.

SMITC: How do you maintain your sense of style while juggling a business and baby?

CM: Since having the baby I understand the importance of simplifying my wardrobe so that it consists of pieces I love, and can be styled together without much thought. This makes it easy to get ready in the morning, and then I can have fun getting Zelda dressed!

SMITC: What’s your “secret” to being Sassy?

CM: Doing what I love and surrounding myself with people that I care about, and leaving the drama to the Real Housewives (my guilty pleasure!)

SMITC: What is your guilty pleasure when you get a little coveted ‘me’ time?

CM: My “me” time consists of a weekly blowout and a spray tan. This is my way of feeling put together throughout the week with little effort.
