April has a great review of Petunia Derma Microneedle Roller for Face and Body
and Anti-aging serum!

It seemed like days after my 30th birthday, wrinkles just starting popping up all over my face!  Since then I’ve been trying nearly everything myself to keep them at bay – before I have to switch my game plan and enlist some professionals!

Petunia Skincare – an all natural skin care line made in the USA – sent me two products to try out: the Derma Microneedle Roller  and SProfessional Anti-Aging Serum.

Petunia Skincare Derma Roller:

The derma roller is a microneedle roller system made up of stainless steel needles.  It is said to firm skin, stimulate collagen and elastin production, and  diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines (among other things.)  To use it, you just roller the device on your clean face in four directions – horizontally, vertically, and diagonally – using normal pressure.  Afterwards, you follow up with the serum.

Petunia Skincare Professional Anti-Aging Serum:

The anti-aging serum is made with vitamins c and E and well as hyaluronic acid and ferulic acid.  This product promises to reduce wrinkles, reduce pore size, and even-out your skin tone.  To use it you drop a pea-sized amount and rub it in a circular motion onto your clean face.

I’ve been incorporating these two products into my daily face care routine for about two weeks now.  When I first started using the derma roller, it hurt!  I couldn’t roll it 10 tens in each direction like the instructions said.  But after testing it out a few more times, it didn’t bother me as much.  The thing to remember is to lightly roll the device across your skin…too much pressure it not good!

After using both products together during this trial period, I will say that my skin is looking more fresh and awake than it did before.  Also, the products have not caused any distress to my face nor have they created any reactions to what I already use, including Retin-A.  Obviously any product that goes onto your face takes weeks to truly show results, but I’m slightly impressed with this duo!  I’ll be continuing to use them in my skin care routine.
