Guide to Using Pinterest for Business (#MomBizMondays)
This week I read an interesting article by Chris Horton Why Every Business Should on Pinterest and it really made me stop and reconsider how much time I was using this social media platform. I tend to use Pinterest for storing recipes and products I wish to purchase in the near future and occasionally will take the time to pin a few posts. For me if using Pinterest will drive traffic to Sassy Moms in the City, awesome, however I’m not seeing the stats to support this use of my time. One would say that’s because I’m not using it often enough.
For businesses with an e-commerce function it does seem to be imperative to use Pinterest as a method to showcase products and service. Like with any social media platform, there should be a balance between promoting and sharing. This guide to using Pinterest infographic does a great job of outlining how you should be using the network.
Are you using Pinterest for business? Are you seeing any ROI or traffic to your website?
