bumble and bumble hair powder (#bestofbeauty)
Does your hair fall flat or never hold a curl? I’ve found one of the best dry shampoos that does more than dry cleanse. After trying several brands, I haven’t been too impressed. While I don’t wash my hair daily, it does need to be freshly shampooed to hold any sort of style. Otherwise, it’s back in a ponytail safe and sound. After non-stop complaining of my drab, flat hair, a stylist recommended that I try Bumble and Bumble’s hair powder to give my fine hair more fullness.
At first glance, I wasn’t so sure having never seen a dry shampoo that required selecting a color to match your hair. Available in four shades brown, black, blondish and white, Bumble and Bumble hair powder works in several capacities.
Like most dry shampoo it works best on oily or less clean hair but unlike similar products, it gives fine hair traction while enhancing color and blending roots. Triple bonus!
Although my brown hair is lightened to almost platinum blonde, it was recommended I go with the white. The stylist told me not to be alarmed as the hair powder will disperse white powder, but then disappear. It took a few times to get the hang of using successfully with my hair type, but now it’s one of my must-have beauty products.
For those that have fine hair (like me), untreated hair that is so soft that falls flat with any styling product or won’t hold a curl to save your life, Bumble and Bumble hair powder could be your solution.
The process that works well for me is washing and drying my hair, then spraying my roots with white Bumble and Bumble hair powder. After the powder sits for a few minutes it gives my fine hair traction and fullness, adding grip when styling with Velcro curlers, round brush or curling iron.
