Style, Fashion and Beauty for Sophisticated Moms

Back to School Style with GAP!

I love to shopping with my girls and never need a special occasion to buy clothes. What can I say – girls are so much fun to shop for! Plus L and E have similar style as their momma so that makes things even more dangerous.

As much as I love the fact that they both will wear uniforms to school this year (YAY!!), we still need to shop for casual clothes.

This weekend we’ll be attending the Back to School Celebration and School Supply Drive at GAP on Michigan Ave. I was asked to select our sassy Back to School Style!

Back to School Style
E’s style is a little edgy so we went with moto skinny jeans, denim jacket, trendy sweater and metallic ballet flats.  L loves a great dress – especially with a ruffle detail. She liked the idea of wearing denim to match her little sis and everyone needs a pair of tall boots for fall.

And of course mom needs to look chic too! If I’m not wearing workout gear then you can usually find me in jeans. I love a plaid shirt and this version in pastels is feminine and who doesn’t love a great pair of suede flats? Totes are a must-have and I’m loving the pink leather. So sassy!!

Don’t miss the GAP Back to School Celebration and School Supply Drive!

We’re excited to be partnering with GAP this weekend! Join us August 23-24 from 10:00am – 6:00pm for a fun filled back to school weekend complete with styling sessions, face painting, balloons, arts & crafts, story time, and appearances from Chicagoland mom bloggers: Sassy Moms in the City, Defining Tabitha, and Marketing Mommy.
