I have to admit ABC’s The Bachelor is one of my guilty pleasures – the drama, the “romance”, fabulous destinations and the fashion. Last week kicked off Season 18 and after watching The Countdown to Juan Pablo and the First Rose Ceremony, I’m officially hooked.
Everyone seems to be going crazy about Juan Pablo. He’s HOT, sensitive and a doting father. But the girl drama and awkward moments are really why we watch. Am I right?
Ladies, from the looks of episode one, it’s going to be an awesome season. From Amy the massage therapist who insisted on giving the weirdest rubdown (in cocktail attire??), Lauren who admitted her fiancé called off their wedding by phone, Lucinda who wore no shoes (gross), Clare who popped out of the limo wearing a faux baby bump (Ewww) to Sharleen who received the first impression rose but was hesitant to accept because she wasn’t sure there was “chemistry” yet. Well played Sharleen. Well. Played.
Now on to the fashion. I’m not sure what most of the girls were thinking when they selected dresses for the rose ceremony, but I did love several of their accessory choices.
