babybjorn launches baby carrier one october 1st (#review)
On October 1st BabyBjorn launches their highly anticipated multifunctional front and back baby carrier – Baby Carrier One (MSP $199.95). I received a sample to review prior to the release date to share the awesome new features.
I really wish this had been available when my girls where little. We owned the BabjBjorn Original and Active carriers and used with both babies, passing on to friends when we outgrew.
If you’re a new parent, chances are friends have recommended registering for or purchasing a carrier that offers the ability to carry your baby in front and on your back. They would be correct. It’s a great feature and extends the life of the product.
This alone is why BabyBjorn’s Baby Carrier One is worth purchasing, however it has several other upgraded features that we loved.
Sassy New Features:
- Carries Newborn to 3 Years: by 12 months your child is large enough to be carried on your back.
- Upgraded Clasps/Support Buckles: to provide additional stability the buckles are much more substantial without being too bulky.
- Front and Back Carrying: from the front you may carry a child facing inward and outwards, on then transfer to your back at the appropriate age
- Baby Height Zippers: replacing the original buckle that slides to different positions, the new design has two zipper positions for adjusting baby’s height position (upper zipper for newborns and lower zipper starting at 27 inches).
- Wide Leg Position Zipper: There are two small external zippers that provide a wider leg position in the inward facing position.
- Waist Belt for lower back support: lined with silky satin material, this is much less bulky than the back support design on original models.
Sassy Moms in the City was provided sample product for purposes of this review.
