Alexandra Rain App Teaches Girls Inner Beauty
Raising two daughters (3 and 5), playing dress-up and primping are common place in our home. While they’re looking in the mirror, I ‘m diverting their attention to more important things like inner beauty, confidence and self-esteem.
Reinforcing positive behavior has been top priority for our family, but as the girls get older I notice how external factors like television, school and toys influence the way they perceive themselves. The definition of ‘model’ is understood in two different ways. Alex is a fashionista and likes to model clothes and jewelry, but her primary focus is modeling kind, positive behavior.

I encourage them to use their imaginations and whatever they’re interested in, I show interest in that too. I encourage them to be themselves and that it doesn’t pay to be shy.

I would teach her, to be kind and loving and to follow her dreams always and to be independent and not rely on anyone but herself. That’s what made me strong! =) good luck everyone!

It’s not too hard to teach my daughter to be brave, strong, and courageous because she has an older brother. If she’s not standing up to him to make sure he’s not taking her things or being mean to her, then she’s following him around to join in his adventures.

My 9 year old daughter (and I) is obssesed with the American Girl Dolls. I love them because it teaches young girls to be brave, strong, and have a lot of courage. And to believe in their dreams, anything is possible when you set your mind to it
