What I Wore Wednesday: Daydreaming About NYFW 2013
Mercedes Benz Fashion week is here and like most fashion obsessed, I am wishing I was there sitting amongst the fabulous and famous, gazing at the upcoming trends for 2013! But, instead there are men and women that need styling assistance in Chicago and that is where my heart is and I’m happy to do it.
This week’s What I Wore Wednesday pays homage to NYFW with a little mixture of my two favorite types of style, Bohemian and edgy. Maxi dresses (depending on the colors and print) can be worn any season with the proper accessories. This dress I love for the Summer, but think it’s great to carry into February with a pair of black booties and a cropped/fitted leather jacket to make it more cold weather appropriate.
If you want to switch the look up for a little more contrast throw on a cropped white blazer or a pair of short “cowboy” booties. And if you want a little fashion week flare, but want to keep it more low key, throw on a boyfriend or cropped black, brown, or maroon cardigan and flat boots.
