64th Emmy Awards Fashion Mishaps
We couldn’t resist to include our list of fashion mishaps on the red carpet at the 64th Emmy Awards. Several celebrity moms took home the Emmy but their choice of gowns did not win any points with us. Shapeless dresses, showing too much skin or not enough seems to be the theme. Expectant mom Claire Danes and Emmy winner wore this bright yellow strapless daffodil-yellow Lanvin that unfortunately may have extremely comfortable but was not so flattering on her growing bump.
Amy Poehler is adorable but I’m not lovin’ the halter sequin dress. Unfortunately it’s not the most flattering but her hair looks beautiful.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus takes home the Emmy but something was a little off with this dark red, ruched Vera Wang accented with blue jewelry. From the waist down it worked but the design on top was not very flattering.
According to Nicole Kidman she only looked at two dresses but she should have considered a few more options. The cut is beautiful and flatters her body but the blue sequin design is distracting. Not a fan.
Newly single Heidi Klum flaunted her sexy body in a light-blue Alexandre Vauthier. Admittedly her bod is beyond ridiculous but for some reason showing so much skin seemed like she was trying too hard. No one can argue that she’s beautiful but the dress just did not work for me.
Julianne Moore must have been burning up (literally) in this bright yellow long-sleeve, stretchy gown by Raf Simons for Christian Dior. The color didn’t work and there was so much fabric. Maybe a different sleeve and neckline?
Amanda Peet unfortunately wore a dress that did nothing to compliment her figure or skin tone. On a positive note, her hair and jewelry looked fabulous.
