Fashion Haul at Athleta (#Fashion Friday)
I could not help myself last weekend but splurge on new fitness apparel at Athleta. Hitting the gym 5 days a week I want to feel and look good which justifies a major fashion haul. Athleta’s fall collection is fantastic but my favorite was the Space Dye Contender Skort ($69). One look at this pic behind the counter and I had to have it. Doesn’t everyone want to look like this running?
Of course with bottoms you need a sassy top to accompany. My choice was Kickit Wick-it™ Tee ($46).
And no workout ensemble is complete without a very, very supportive sports bra. The only brand I wear is Moving Comfort and the Rebound Racer Bra in Charcoal Heather ($50) was different from the other styles I own. Moving Comfort, in my opinion is the most supportive sports bra on the market. If you require extra support (ie- you normally wear two sports bras), this line is for you. Trust me, your tata’s will thank you!
Having purchased capri leggings from another leading fitness apparel brand last spring, I can honestly say Athleta fits me much better. Their sizing runs XS, S, M, L, etc which I prefer opposed to numeric sizing. If I happen to fluctuate, the tops and bottoms will continue to fit. My experience with numeric sizing has not been as successful and I now have 2 pairs of leggings sitting in my dresser. At $72 a pair, it’s an expensive investment to not be getting much use out of.
