Organic Produce Delivered to My Doorstep

I hate grocery shopping. That sounds so dramatic but inspiration for my weekly menu planning is difficult until I actually see fresh produce. Preparing an accurate shopping list can be challenging when you have no idea what to cook!

My problems were solved a few weeks ago when I received an email from Mamaloot.com for Ripe Organics. I had heard from other sassy moms in the city about boxes of fruit and veggies magically appearing on their doorsteps, but never made the time to figure out how to get on the delivery list.

This is why I love Mamaloot.com. Since subscribing to their email list, I have obtained access to some of the most unique Chicago businesses I may not have found on my own. Mamaloot.com only sends me deals for moms, kids and families.

I immediately purchased my daily deal which was a $40 box for $20. It was worth a try, right? I visited Ripe Organics online before my purchase and was pleasantly surprised. Their website is super easy to navigate, they post weekly menus so you know what will be delivered and even provide recipes for the items in your box. How clever is that?

I ordered a middle box which arrived containing a beautiful mix of artichokes, kiwi, red potatoes (which I have never eaten), spaghetti squash, apples and more. I asked sassy kid #1 to help unpack the box and identify and count each item. We are on week three of receiving our delivery and she loves seeing the Ripe Organics box on our doorstep and helping me unpack.

Every week when our Ripe Organics box arrives on our doorstep, I use this as an opportunity for sassy kid to help plan our weekly dinners and she loves to help me cook. Can’t say this is getting her to actually eat what I prepare, but I will keep trying!

Enter to win your very own box of fruit and veggies delivered right to your doorstep ($40 value)! Chicagoland residents only.

Disclaimer: Sassy Moms was not paid for this post. I purchased a deal through Mamaloot.com to receive a $40 box for $20. The opinions are based on my own experience.
