While researching strollers for her first child in 2007, Alison quickly realized that the type of stroller required for city living was completely different from the type her friends and family required raising children in suburban areas. Strollers led to additional baby gear which led to baby activities, which led to sleep training which led to potty training which led to launching a blog about her experience raising two daughters city style, which led to establishing a successful neighborhood moms group.
Two years into motherhood and with an expanding network of sophisticated moms, Alison was inspired to host a girl’s night out for moms and moms-to-be to raise awareness and proceeds for Neighborhood Parents Network. It was the success of Sassy Moms Night Out and private screening of Sex and the City 2 that Alison realized the need to create exclusive events for moms to have an evening out with the girls, dust off those stilettos, network, mingle and be pampered.
From the creation of Sassy Moms in the City, Alison has established a fabulous group of sassy moms who enjoy connecting through common interests, sophisticated events and social media.
